The Cameroon military tribunal in Yaounde continued its legal charade on May 25, 2018, with the sentenced of the following ambazonian activists arrested in Bamenda in connection with the fall 2016 general strike. The protests leading to the general strike were against attempts by the Cameroon regime to replace the Ambazonian common law based judicial system with what amounts to the French colonial court system.
1. Mancho Bibixy 15years imprisonment for Acts of Terrorism, Secession, Revolution, Hostilities against the Fatherland, Propagation of false Information, Insurrection and Contempt of Authorities.
2. Tsi Conrad 15years imprisonment for Hostilities against the Fatherland, Terrorism, Non possession of ID, Contempt against Authorities, Propagating False Information, Revolution and Secession
3. Tha Emile Angwe 13 years imprisonment for Acts of Terrorism, Hostilities against the Fatherland, Insurrection, Contempt to Authorities, secession, Destruction of Public Properties and Revolution.
4. Aselech Martin 13 years imprisonment for Hostilities against the Fatherland, Secession, secession, Insurrection, Acts of Terrorism and Propagating False Information.
5. Tamngwa Martin 13ears imprisonment for Terrorism, Hostilities against the Fatherland, Insurrection, Session, Revolution, Contempt of Authorities and Destruction of Public Properties.
6. Guingah Valentine 10 years imprisonment for Terrorism, Hostilities against the Fatherland, Non possession of ID, Illegal Possession of Firearms, Revolution and Propagating False Information.
7. Awah Thomas 11 years imprisonment for Terrorism, Hostilities against the Fatherland, Insurrection, Secession Propagating False Information and Contempt against Authorities.
They will pay the sum of 268 Millions as damages to the civil parties including the state of Cameroon. Also they will pay a total fine 34millions or additional two years imprisonment.
Their sentence will run concurrently.
