Today, WRI is featuring our work in honor of "Prisoners for Peace Day," which takes place every year on December 1. For over sixty years on this day, WRI has been sharing stories and contacts details of conscientious objectors and activists for peace. “We want to express our appreciation to the War Resisters International for what they have done to highlight the Ambazonian leadership in detention," said a representative of the Nera 10 in a statement relayed through family and friends. “There have been lots of systematic coverup of the atrocities that are taking place here; many people are just accepting their bribes and moving on. We need to counter this silence — so we are very happy that WRI has taken these steps to showcase our situation so that the world can know the truth about what is going on here.
